When She's not just YOur Girl...?

What happens when dudes get cheated on? I have a friend who is a sweet guy but still keeps his, how do I say,  "masculine" side in tact. Many of our conversations deal with male/female relations in which he adamantly informs me that females are this, that, and nothing at all. However, he found that girl that made him consider settling down and dum dum dum...she came out to be perfectly in perfect. As many people, she was a player and played the HELL out of him, for lack of a better phrase. Turns out lil lady had a fiance (not just a bf...shawty had ole dude put a ring on it). Now my female side gives her props where props are due but the psych major side of me wonders, what happens when a dude gets played like a game of "SORRY :("?  More importantly, why is the initial response to call the girl a bitch and all manners of hoe this an that? My thing is this, girls have dealt with the trifling tendencies of reckless men from day one so why is it when they, ultimately, reap what they sew its this big production of "O NO SHE DIDN'T!!!!" complete with calling every female in your phone book for empathy? I say give credit where credit is due and keep moving.
